Komodo National Park is located in the Nusa Tenggara archipelago, between the two islands of Sumbawa and Flores island between the border of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The majority of the people who live in and around Komodo Island is the fisherman who came from Bima (Sumbawa), Manggara, South Flores, South Sulawesi from Bugis Bajau tribe.
