The Bunaken National Marine Park

Bunaken is one of the most famous diving in Indonesia and attract divers from around the world.

Bunaken is one of the most spectacular dive sites around the world. At around Bunaken, many dive sites that are a favorite among scuba divers, both amateur and professional. Among them was Manado Tua, Siladen Island and Lembeh Strait.

Bunaken is a tourist attraction that has been widely known even abroad.



The island of 8.08 km ² in the Bay of Manado, located in the northern island of Sulawesi. This island is part of the city of Manado, the capital of North Sulawesi province.

To go to Bunaken, can travel by boat or Speed boat charter to travel about 30 minutes from the port city of Manado.

Besides easy access, there are around the island marine park is part of the Marine National Park of Manado Tua. This marine park biodiversity which has one of the highest in the world.




Bunaken marine park covers an area of 75,265 hectares with five islands in it, namely the island of Manado Tua, Bunaken Island, Siladen Island, Island follows several children Mantehage island, and Naen Island. Although the area covers 75,265 hectares, only a limited dive sites in each of the five beaches that surround the island.








Another thing that can be enjoyed is the Bunaken marine park which has a 20 point dive to depths varying up to 1344 meters. Of the 20 diving points, 12 points among them diving around Bunaken Island. Twelve dive spot is the most frequently visited by divers and lovers of the beauty of underwater scenery. Guaranteed, the visitors will be spoiled with underwater natural beauty.

Most of the 12 point dive in Bunaken Island lined up from the southeast to the northwest of the island. In this region there are "underwater great walls", which is also called "hanging walls", or the walls of huge rocks standing vertical and curved upward. This rock wall is also a source of food for fish in the waters around Bunaken Island.
